About
The Canadian Women's Mid-Amateur Championship, presented by BDO, is a national amateur golf championship organized by Golf Canada. This competition is open to female amateur golfers aged 25 and over who have a handicap index of 12.0 or less at the time of registration. The championship is played over 54 holes of stroke play, typically held over three days. The event usually attracts a strong field including top mid-amateur players nationally, with some international participants, especially from the U.S. The winner receives exemptions into the following year's U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship and the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship. The 2025 championship will be held at Club de Golf Lachute in Quebec.
