Description

Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The 2025 championship was held at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The format combines stroke play and match play; it begins with a 54-hole stroke play competition over three days to qualify and seed teams and individuals. Following stroke play, the tournament moves to match play with the top eight teams competing in knockout rounds to determine the team champion. Individual honors are awarded based on the stroke play leaderboard. The field typically includes all 15 ACC member teams, with up to five players per team, and the top scores counting toward the team total. Qualification for the event is automatic for all ACC member schools competing in women's golf. The championship serves as the ACC conference title and a qualifier for NCAA regional tournaments.
