Description

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Golf Championship is a three-day, 54-hole stroke play event. Each team enters five golfers, with the top four individual scores counting for the team score each round. Teams tee off based on their previous year's championship results, with the top three teams starting first on day one. Pairings for subsequent rounds are based on team scores from the previous day. The team with the lowest aggregate score over the tournament is declared the MIAC champion and receives an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships. The individual champion is determined by the lowest gross score. All play follows United States Golf Association (USGA) rules, and scorecards are signed and submitted immediately after each round to be official. Spectators are welcome, following local and conference rules.
