Description
The Zimbabwe Match Play golf tournament in 2025 is scheduled to take place at Police Golf Club in Harare, Zimbabwe. The event brings together the top 64 golfers from the National Order of Merit (OoM) standings after the Zimbabwe Amateur Championship, with additional qualifiers from the Zimbabwe Amateur if needed to fill the field. The match play format is a knockout style, starting with a round of 64 on Friday, followed by rounds progressing to the final on Sunday. Matches are 18 holes, with ties decided by sudden death playoffs. The tournament offers World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points and serves as a critical competition to expose Zimbabwean golfers to match play strategy and competition.
