Description

The World Wide Technology Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held at the El Cardonal Golf Course at Diamante Cabo San Lucas in Los Cabos, Mexico. The 2025 tournament is scheduled over four rounds of stroke play, with a field of 132 players competing over 72 holes. The format involves morning and afternoon waves for the first two rounds, playing in threesomes with consistent groupings for the first two days. Unlike many stroke play events, there is no cut after 36 holes; all players who make the field complete all four rounds. The final rounds have tee times based on cumulative scores, with the leader teeing off last. The winner earns a two-season exemption on the PGA Tour, 500 FedEx Cup Fall points, 35 Official World Golf Ranking points, and a winner’s share of a $6 million total purse.
