Description

The Women's Amateur Latin America Championship is an annual 72-hole stroke play tournament founded by The R&A and the ANNIKA Foundation to provide a pathway for Latin America’s top female amateur golfers. The championship features approximately 60 invited players from up to 14 countries in Latin America, with invitations based on amateur status, national representation, and the player’s position within regional amateur rankings. The field includes top performers from national federations, with the winner earning exemptions into major women’s championships such as The AIG Women’s Open, The Chevron Championship, and The Amundi Evian Championship, along with other international amateur events. The 2025 edition will be held at PGA Riviera Maya in Tulum, Mexico, continuing the championship’s tradition of rotating hosts throughout the region. Entry and qualification details are provided annually by The R&A and the ANNIKA Foundation.
