Description

The WJGA State Championship is organized by the Washington Junior Golf Association and stands as the culminating event for top junior golfers in Washington state. The tournament is played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, featuring divisions for boys and girls ages 8–18. The typical field size is approximately 180 competitors, all of whom must have qualified through WJGA sub-district and district tournaments based on placement and minimum scoring criteria. Exemptions are available for prior champions and players with outstanding season performance. All entrants must be residents of Washington and active WJGA members, with the event taking place at elite venues throughout the state.
