Description

The West Virginia Mid-Amateur Championship is organized annually by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) for amateur golfers aged 25 and older. The tournament consists of 36 holes of stroke play qualifying, after which the top players advance to single-elimination match play to determine the champion. The field typically includes 64 regional mid-amateurs. Players must meet age and WVGA membership requirements to qualify. The event is held at different premier courses within West Virginia and follows USGA and WVGA rules for both stroke play and match play formats.
