Description
The 97th West Texas Amateur Championship is scheduled for July 18-20, 2025, at Abilene Country Club (South Course) located at 4039 S. Treadway, Abilene, TX 79602. The tournament features three divisions: Championship, Senior (55+), and Super Senior (65+), each playing from different tees with separate champions recognized. The event format is 54 holes of individual stroke play with a cut to the low 72 scorers and ties after 36 holes. Registration and practice round details include a discounted practice round on July 17th, and official tournament registration is held on that day from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Starting times and pairings will be posted online prior to play. The field size is limited, with priority admission for exempt players until June 11, 2025.
