Description
The Valspar Championship is a professional golf tournament run by the PGA Tour and held annually at the Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead Course) in Palm Harbor, Florida. The event consists of four rounds of stroke play, with 156 players competing initially. After 36 holes, a cut is made, allowing the top 65 players and ties to continue to the final two rounds. The Valspar Championship is known for its challenging layout, including the famous "Snake Pit" three-hole finishing stretch, and awards 500 FedExCup points to the winner. Players qualify through their PGA Tour status, sponsor exemptions, and Monday qualifying events.
