V Copa Norte

The V Copa Norte is a junior golf tournament organized by the Federación Mexicana de Golf (FMG). The event is designed for young players aged 7 to 18 and typically covers three rounds of stroke play over several days. Categories are divided by age groups, including 7–9, 10–15, and 18 and under, with separate divisions for boys and girls. The championship generally attracts around 80–120 competitors and serves as a qualifying event for the National Junior Ranking season in Mexico. Entry is open to official members of the Mexico Jr. Golf Tour and includes Mexican nationals and residents. Applications are made through the FMG website, and players must be registered with the FMG to participate. The tournament rotates between major clubs in northern Mexico, such as Club Campestre Tampico and Lagunas de Miralta.
