Description

The USWING MOJING Junior World Qualifying tournaments are organized by the San Diego Junior Golf Association to select competitors for the prestigious Junior World Golf Championships. Each qualifier is a single-round (18-hole) stroke play event, though some local sites may offer more than one round. Competitor numbers vary by location but typically range from 60 to 120 juniors per site, divided into age divisions. Players qualify by registering and competing in official qualifying tournaments, with the top finishers in each division earning exemption into the Junior World Championship. If the winner is already qualified, the exemption is passed to the next eligible competitor. International players may qualify through similar events or by application based on their playing resume if their country does not sponsor a qualifier. Entry requirements also include age-specific guidelines and performance standards.
