U.S. Senior Challenge
About
The U.S. Senior Challenge is the nation’s only senior amateur team golf event featuring teams from different states competing against each other. The 2025 tournament will be held April 27-30 at Hobe Sound Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. It is a 54-hole competition with both individual and team components. Teams are composed of four players, with scoring based on the best three of four scores per hole on the first day and best three of four 18-hole rounds on the final two days. The event includes senior and super senior divisions, with prize money and trophies awarded to team and individual champions. Entry is $795 per player and includes four rounds of golf, carts, range balls, dinners, contests, and prizes. Interested players must contact their State Captain or the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association for participation details. The event is one of the premier senior amateur golf tournaments in the U.S., founded in 1985.
