Description

The Watson Challenge is a prestigious golf tournament founded by golf legend Tom Watson in 2007 with the goal of determining the best golfer in the Greater Kansas City area while supporting local charities. The event features a field of about 48 top professionals and amateurs from the Kansas City golf community, selected through the Midwest PGA Player of the Year points list and the Kansas City Golf Association’s amateur State Line Tour points list, plus sponsor exemptions and qualifiers. The tournament is a 54-hole stroke play competition held over three days, hosted at courses like Hallbrook Country Club and Mission Hills Country Club. Proceeds benefit the First Tee of Greater Kansas City’s Scholarship Foundation
