The Trojan

The Trojan is a collegiate men's golf tournament organized by the University of Southern California (USC), typically held at a premier course in Southern California, such as Rolling Hills Country Club or Los Angeles Country Club. The event is traditionally played over 54 holes (three rounds) of stroke play, with five players per team and the best four scores counting towards the team total for each round. The field generally includes 12–15 NCAA Division I programs, consisting of around 60–75 competitors. Teams qualify through direct invitation based on competitive standing, national ranking, and historical participation. The Trojan Invitational is a cornerstone of the spring schedule, providing elite intercollegiate competition ahead of conference and national championships.
