Description
The Stono is a collegiate golf tournament hosted by the College of Charleston at The Links at Stono Ferry in Hollywood, South Carolina. The event consists of 54 holes (three rounds) of individual stroke play, usually held over two or three days. The field typically features about 70–80 NCAA Division I players, mainly invited based on their team's regional standing and previous performance. While primarily an individual competition, some participants represent their college teams though team scoring is not always emphasized.
