The President’s Cup
About
The President’s Cup is a biennial men’s international team golf tournament organized by the PGA TOUR. It is contested between a United States team and an International team (excluding Europe) over four days, with 12 competitors per team. The cup consists of 30 matches: 18 team matches using both foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball) formats across the first three days, followed by 12 singles matches on the last day. Players qualify based on FedExCup points (USA) and world ranking or captain’s selection (International). There’s no prize money; the focus is on international goodwill and charity, with the event hosted at renowned courses such as Royal Montreal, Quail Hollow, and Medinah Country Club.
