The Mimosa Invitational

The Mimosa Invitational is held at Mimosa Hills Golf Club in Morganton, North Carolina and is operated by the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA). The event is a junior invitational played over 36 holes (two rounds) of stroke play, with no age divisions—players are grouped by gender only. The field typically consists of 120 competitors (96 boys and 24 girls), all of whom must be amateur golfers under 19 years old, not yet in college, and with a residence in North or South Carolina. Players must hold a current GHIN number at a CGA member club. Entry is primarily by invitation and based on Carolinas Junior Rankings for boys and girls; exempt players are accepted upon registration, while remaining spots are filled with the top-ranked registrants at the deadline.
