Description

The Memorial Junior is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at Champions Golf Course in Grove City, Ohio. The 2025 tournament is scheduled for June 3-6 with a field of 72 boys and girls ages 12 to 19. The course plays to a par 71 with a slope rating of 139 and course rating of 73.5 for boys, and a slope of 133 with a course rating of 74.0 for girls. Yardages measure approximately 6,726 yards for boys and 5,872 yards for girls. The event has a tournament fee of $295 and features exemptions for boys based on AJGA Performance Stars: top 3 fully exempt, top 10 requiring 12 stars, top 15 needing 8 stars, top 25 needing 4 stars, and 2 stars to make the cut if applicable. Girls have similar exemption tiers. The Memorial Junior attracts top junior talent including numerous AJGA champions and Rolex Junior All-Americans. Notable universities such as Miami University, Ohio State, Wake Forest, and Xavier often send coaches.
