The Lanto Junior Championship is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at Blacksburg Country Club in Blacksburg, Virginia. The 2025 event is scheduled for June 2-5 with a field of 78 boys and girls ages 12 to 19. The course plays as a par 71.9 with a slope rating of 134 for boys, and a course rating of 74.5 with a slope of 132 for girls. Entry exemptions for boys include the top 3 fully exempt, top 10 requiring 12 Performance Stars, top 15 needing 8 stars, top 25 needing 4 stars, and 2 stars needed to make the cut if applicable. Girls have similar exemption tiers with the top 3 fully exempt and top 5 requiring 12 stars. Tournament fees are $295. Important dates include an application deadline on April 29 and payment due dates on May 4 and 7. AJGA qualifiers are held leading up to the tournament with application windows in April and May.
