Description

The Engadine Amateur Championship is the oldest amateur golf tournament in Switzerland, established in 1893. It is organized by Engadine Golf Club and played over 54 holes of single stroke play across three days without a cut, typically held in late June at the Samedan Golf Course. The field is limited to 120 competitors, each with a maximum exact handicap of 11.0, and all must be members of a golf club affiliated with their national golf federation. Qualification is on a first-come, first-served basis, with those having the highest handicaps being eliminated if entries exceed the limit. The competition features gross scoring categories for men, women, juniors, and seniors. Entry requires submitting registration forms by email, fax, or online by the closing date approximately one month before the event.
