Description
The Carmel Cup is an elite collegiate men's golf tournament that features eight teams, including highly ranked programs such as Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt. The competition consists of three rounds of stroke play, each round played over 18 holes. The format is unique in college golf, with each team fielding six players per round, and the five best scores from each team counting towards the team total each day. The tournament is invitation-only, with teams qualifying based on their national rankings and season performance.
