Description
The Blade Junior Classic is the premier event on the South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) tournament schedule, held annually at Thornblade Club in Greenville, SC. The tournament is played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, featuring both "18 holers" and "9 holers" in separate age divisions for boys and girls, typically ages 10–18. The field is consistently 130–140 juniors, with entry open based on SCJGA tour status, performance rankings, and points from prior events. The event also features a Jr-Am fundraiser, family dinners, guest speakers, and an awards ceremony. Sponsorships and charity fundraisers are integral parts of the tournament experience.
