Description
The 99th edition of the Texas Junior Amateur—presented by Edwin Watts Golf—was held July 28–30, 2025, at the scenic Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas. The event featured a field of approximately 240 top junior players in four age divisions: Boys 15-18 (120 players), Girls 15-18 (60 players), Boys 14 & under (45 players), and Girls 14 & under (15 players). As an official United States Golf Association exemption event, the champions of the Boys and Girls 15-18 divisions earned direct exemptions into the 2026 U.S. Junior Boys and Girls Championships. The tournament is run under the auspices of the Texas Golf Association and is one of the state’s most prestigious junior championships, serving as a key proving ground for elite junior golfers across Texas.
