Swiss Golf West Championship
About
The Swiss Golf West Championship is organized by Swiss Golf and typically played as a 72-hole stroke play event over four rounds, with a cut after 36 holes. The tournament features a field of both men and women competitors, with around 39 men and 21 women qualifying for the final rounds. The players compete from the back tees and are seeded each day for tee times based on their performance, with simultaneous starts on tees 1 and 10 for the later rounds. In the case of ties for medal positions, team events are decided by non-counting scores progressively from later rounds backward, and individual events are resolved through a hole-by-hole playoff immediately after the final round. Qualification is through Swiss Golf's regional and national systems, with invitations extended based on prior event performance.
