Swiss Golf Open Championship
About
The Swiss Golf Open Championship is Switzerland’s most important amateur golf event, organized by Swiss Golf. The 2025 edition was held at Golfclub Domat/Ems and featured three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play for both men and women, attracting up to 144 competitors (90 men and 54 women) from Switzerland and abroad. Entry is determined by national and international rankings, club recommendations, and a player’s demonstrated handicap within specified limits. The championship serves as the main qualification route to represent Switzerland in international team competitions and is recognized for its high level of organization and strong field of elite amateurs.
