Swiss Golf International Championship
About
The Swiss Golf International Championship is an amateur golf tournament organized by the Swiss Golf Association, held at Golf Club Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland. The 2025 championship is scheduled for September 26 to 28. The format consists of 54 holes of stroke play over three days, with a cut after 36 holes. The field is limited to 144 competitors, split into around 90 men and 54 ladies, with entry criteria based on handicap limits (men 3.5, ladies 5.0), past championship winners, national stroke play and match play champions, Swiss Golf wildcards, and ranking order according to WHS handicap. The championship features a golfer grouping system for tee times based on handicaps for the first two rounds, with players seeded by scores for the final round starting last. Ties are resolved by sudden-death playoffs.
