Swiss Challenge
About
The Swiss Challenge is a professional golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, which was traditionally held in Switzerland but has been hosted in France since 2021. The event was first established in 2000 as the Credit Suisse Private Banking Open. It is played over four rounds (72 holes) in a stroke play format and features a field of professional golfers competing for a significant prize purse. The tournament has a rich history of showcasing emerging golf talent, with the host venues including Golf Sempachersee in Switzerland for many years and recently Golf Saint Apollinaire in France near the Swiss border.
