Strathtyrum Trophy

The Strathtyrum Trophy is a prestigious amateur golf tournament held at the Strathtyrum Course, part of St Andrews Links in St Andrews, Scotland. Established in 1989, it provides a competitive platform primarily for female golfers, allowing them to compete under the same format as male counterparts in other tournaments. The event is played over 36 holes in mid-August, and typically features players with handicaps no higher than 28. The Strathtyrum Course itself opened in 1993 and complements the championship layouts at St Andrews, featuring 18 holes with challenging bunkers and large sloping greens.
