Description
The St Rule Trophy is a prestigious 54-hole open amateur stroke play tournament for women, hosted annually at the historic St Andrews Links in Scotland and organized by St Andrews Links Trust. The event is played over two days, with competitors tackling 36 holes on the New Course followed by a final round on the Old Course. The field is usually capped at 60 top amateur women, with eligibility based on a handicap index not exceeding 2.4 and entry awarded largely by order of receipt and ranking. It attracts both national and international talent and is renowned for its high level of competition and historic venue.
