Description
The South Australia Women's Amateur Championship is a major state-level event managed by Golf South Australia. The 2024/2025 championship was held from September 24–27, 2024, at Kooyonga Golf Club in Adelaide and followed a combined format: all players compete over 36 holes of stroke play (qualifying), after which the leading 8–16 advance to head-to-head match play knockout, culminating in a final over 18 holes. The field consists of elite amateur women, selected based on handicap and order of entry, with a typical limit of 72 players.
