Society of Seniors - Fall Classic

The Society of Seniors Fall Classic is an event organized by the Society of Seniors, typically featuring a maximum field of 96 players competing in 54 holes of stroke play over three days. The tournament is divided into age-based divisions including Senior (55-64), Super Senior (65-69), Legend (70-74), and Super Legend (75+). Entry is open to all members of the Society of Seniors, with exemptions granted to top finishers from the previous year's Fall Classic and John Kline Championship, as well as Players of the Year. If entries exceed the maximum, a lottery is held. The entry fee covers four rounds of golf (including a practice round), carts, practice facilities, tee gifts, select lunches, a welcome reception, and a prize fund. The event is held at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Pinehurst, NC, usually in late October. For qualification, players must be members of the Society and register within the specified time frame. Exempt players must register by the initial deadline to guarantee their spots. The tournament includes practice rounds, a welcome cocktail reception, and food/beverage service during competition days.
