Description
The SK Telecom Open is an annual professional golf tournament held in South Korea, sponsored by the telecommunications company SK Telecom. The 2025 event is scheduled to be played in May at the Pinx Golf Club on Jeju Island. The tournament uses a stroke play format over four rounds and is part of the Korean Tour. It typically features a strong field of professional golfers competing for a prize fund of approximately ₩1,300,000,000 (about 1.3 billion Korean Won). The tournament has a rich history dating back to 1997 and has been played at various courses in South Korea. The current champion as of 2024 is K.J. Choi.
