Singapore National Amateur Championship

The Singapore National Amateur Championship is the country’s premier individual amateur golf competition, organized by the Singapore Golf Association. The 2025 edition was held June 17–20 at The Singapore Island Country Club. The event uses a format of two qualifying rounds of stroke play followed by match play: competitors first play 36 holes, after which top performers advance to knockout rounds including quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals for both men’s and women’s divisions. Eligibility is based on Singaporean nationality or permanent residency, handicaps not exceeding the set limits (men: typically 12.0, women: 24.0), and valid membership in an affiliated local club. The field consists of Singapore’s top amateur golfers and selected regional invitees, and the championship is a key qualifier for international events
