Description

The Shootout at PGA Riviera Maya is a 54-hole NCAA Division II collegiate golf tournament played over three days at the Tulum Country Club in Akumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The event typically takes place in late September and features about 15 to 20 DII teams competing in a stroke play format. Teams consist of five players with the four best scores counting each round toward the team total. The 2025 tournament saw West Texas A&M win with a combined score of 893 (+29), followed by CSU Pueblo and UT Tyler tying for second. The course is a par-72 and measures approximately 6,980 yards. Individual competitions are also held alongside the team event.
