Rossmund Open

The Rossmund Open is a golf tournament hosted at Rossmund Golf Course in Namibia, renowned as one of the few desert golf courses in the world. The course, situated near Swakopmund, features an 18-hole, par 72 layout, with a total length of approximately 6,068 meters. The event typically features a multi-round stroke play format, attracting amateur and professional golfers competing for titles on this unique desert course.​ The Rossmund Open is known for its scenic environment where springboks freely roam across the fairways, creating a distinctive ambiance for players. Past tournaments have drawn fields of around 45 participants, mainly representing Namibian golf clubs, and the event is usually organized in collaboration with local golf associations and Rossmund Golf Resort, which also provides facilities such as a driving range, clubhouse, restaurant, and event hosting services.
