The Red Bandanna Invitational is a men’s and women’s collegiate golf tournament hosted by Boston College, typically held at Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts. The event is played over three rounds (54 holes) across two days with a stroke play format. The tournament usually features around 15 collegiate teams primarily from NCAA Division I programs, competing for team and individual honors. Teams and players qualify for the event mostly through invitations extended to programs with strong competitive records. The tournament is named in honor of Welles Crowther, known as "The Man in the Red Bandanna," commemorating his heroism on September 11, 2001.
