Description

The Ray Fischer Amateur Championship is organized by the Wisconsin Public Links Association and is one of the longest-running major amateur events in Wisconsin. The tournament is played over 72 holes (four rounds) of stroke play at Janesville Riverside Golf Course. The field is limited to 192 qualified amateur golfers, and typically attracts top players from Wisconsin and neighboring states. Qualification is through direct entry based on established handicap index and competitive resume; entry priority is given to past high finishers, WPLA members, and other recent performance criteria. The event’s demanding format and depth of field make it a significant test for accomplished amateurs.
