R&A Junior Open

The R&A Junior Open is organized by The R&A and scheduled to take place from August 10 to 15, 2025, at County Louth Golf Club in Ireland. The championship features both stroke play and match play formats: an initial stroke play qualification phase followed by knockout match play rounds. Typically, approximately 144 of the world's top male and female junior amateur golfers under 18 years old compete, qualifying through national golf federations and international amateur rankings. The tournament is one of the most important junior championships globally and serves as a proving ground for future elite professionals.
