The Press Thornton Future Masters is one of the most traditionally rich junior golf tournaments in the world, held annually at the Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Alabama. Established in 1950 and named after its founder, Press Thornton Sr., the tournament typically runs for about a week in late June. It attracts nearly 500 of the world's top junior golfers from across the United States and internationally, with participants coming from numerous states, Puerto Rico, and foreign countries. The event features multiple age divisions ranging from 10-and-under to 18 years old, providing a competitive and character-building environment. Many notable past participants have gone on to professional success, including two-time Masters winners Scottie Scheffler and Bubba Watson, among others.
