Description

The Polish Senior Championship is organized by the Polish Golf Union and is played in a stroke play format over 54 holes, with three rounds of 18 holes each on consecutive days. The event typically features both a gross competition without handicap allowance and a net competition with handicap allowance, played under stableford scoring. The championship is open to senior players who are generally aged 65 or older during the calendar year, with specific categories allowing some players aged 70-74. The field size usually includes around 75 men and 24 women, including players admitted through wild cards. Qualification is based on handicap, with a limit usually set around 26.0 or lower. The format includes four-ball play on the first two days, followed by singles on the third day for the team competition, while individual players compete over all rounds for the championship titles. The tournament committee manages starting times and grouping, ensuring fairness.
