Description

The PGA Great Lakes Series is a junior golf tournament circuit managed by the Great Lakes Section of the PGA of America. The series hosts multiple one- and two-day stroke play events throughout the season, with individual tournaments typically played over 18 or 36 holes depending on division and event. Each event features fields ranging from 60 to 150 boys and girls across various age groups (e.g., 12-13, 14-15, 16-18), allowing top junior golfers from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and surrounding states to compete. Qualification for each event is through direct online registration for eligible juniors, with priority given to returning competitors and top finishers from previous series tournaments. Some events in the series also serve as qualifiers for national junior championships.
