Penati Strokeplay Championship
About
The Penati Strokeplay Championship is a major national amateur and professional golf event held each September at the Penati Golf Resort in Šajdíkove Humence, Slovakia. Organized by the Slovak Golf Association in conjunction with PGA Tour Slovakia, the tournament features three rounds of individual stroke play (54 holes) contested over three days on the acclaimed Legend Course. The event welcomes up to 120 competitors, with entry granted to PGA members and select top amateurs holding a tournament wild card. Amateurs are required to apply for a wild card based on their rankings or notable achievements, while professionals can enter directly; the field includes both men and women. The Penati Strokeplay Championship is considered a highlight of the Slovak golf calendar and is used for national rankings and professional qualification.
