Patrick Reed AJGA Junior Championship (Boys)

The Patrick Reed AJGA Junior Championship is a prestigious 54-hole stroke play tournament held at The Woodlands Country Club - Palmer Course in The Woodlands, Texas. The 2025 event is scheduled for June 16-19, featuring a field of 78 boys and girls ages 12 to 19 with no cut. The Palmer Course plays to a par 72 with a slope rating of 140 and course rating of 75.2 for boys, and a slope of 136 and rating of 75.8 for girls. Yardages are approximately 7,000 yards for boys and slightly less for girls. Entry exemptions for boys include the top 3 fully exempt, top 10 requiring 12 Performance Stars, top 15 needing 8 stars, top 25 needing 4 stars, and 2 stars needed to make the cut if applicable. Girls have similar exemptions, with the top 3 fully exempt and top 5 requiring 12 stars. Practice rounds and competitor registration are organized onsite, with practice facilities closing at 6 p.m. Players must use the Golf Genius app for scoring and live leaderboard updates. The tournament attracts a highly competitive field with many AJGA champions and future college players, hosted for the 14th consecutive year in 2025.
