Description

The Palm Beach Kennel Club County Amateur is the signature amateur event of the Palm Beach County Golf Association (PBCGA), held annually since 1976. The championship features a field of South Florida’s top amateur golfers, with all competitors playing in a single Open Division. The event is played over three rounds (54 holes) of individual stroke play, typically attracting 100 to 144 golfers. It is open to all amateur golfers—no qualifying rounds are required, but players must register and spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The championship is a highlight of the PBCGA schedule, offering significant points in the PBCGA Player of the Year and Points Cup standings.
