Ohio Junior Championship

The Ohio Junior Championship is an annual golf tournament organized by the Ohio Golf Association (OGA), held at top Ohio courses such as Ashland Golf Club. The championship features a 54-hole stroke play format played over three days, with a cut after 36 holes (to the low 40 and ties in the 16-18 division, and low 14 and ties in the 15 & under division). It includes two divisions: 16-18 and 15 & under, with around 108 players in the older division and 36 in the younger. The courses are set at approximately 6,700 yards for both divisions, with no caddies allowed during competition and strict dress and equipment rules. Qualification requires online registration with an entry fee of $270, including range use and daily lunches, with the deadline typically in early June. Late or incomplete entries are not accepted, and refunds are limited under medical circumstances only.
