Description

he Northern California Mid-Amateur is organized by the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) and is open to amateur golfers aged 25 or older who maintain an active NCGA membership and have a handicap index of 5.4 or lower. The championship is played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, with the field generally consisting of 84 players. To qualify for the event, non-exempt players must compete in an 18-hole qualifying round held at various courses across Northern California. Exemptions are offered to recent high finishers, past champions, and competitors meeting specific criteria. After 36 holes, a cut is made to the low 42 and ties, who advance to the final round
