The New Zealand Women’s Stroke Play Championship is one of the premier women’s amateur tournaments in New Zealand, organized annually by Golf New Zealand. Held over 72 holes of stroke play across four days, this championship attracts many of New Zealand’s top female amateurs as well as leading international players, generally resulting in a field of about 60–80 competitors. Entry is determined by national ranking, international invitation, and direct application, making it a significant event in the Australasian women’s golf calendar.
