New Jersey Junior PGA Championship
About
The New Jersey Junior PGA Championship is organized by the New Jersey Section of the PGA of America and is one of the premier junior golf tournaments in the region. The championship is played in a stroke play format over 36 holes, with divisions based on age and skill. Fields typically consist of about 80 to 150 junior golfers, divided into various age categories. All players qualify by participating in local PGA section qualifiers, and the champion from each section earns an exemption into the national Junior PGA Championships. Entrants must be amateur golfers who have not reached their 19th birthday by the end of the championship and must not be full-time college students. Registration and entry are managed through official PGA section applications and online systems, with certain age-division rules and exemptions for top performers
