Description

The New Hampshire Stroke Play Championship is organized by the New Hampshire Golf Association (NHGA) and is one of the premier amateur stroke play events in the state. The tournament is typically contested over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play and attracts a field of 100 to 120 of New Hampshire’s top amateur golfers. After 36 holes, there is usually a cut to the low scores for the final round. Players must have a GHIN Handicap Index with a New Hampshire club and be state residents to enter. Qualification is either by direct entry for eligible players or via qualifying rounds and certain exemptions for previous champions and top finishers in state events.
